Satie

Been feeling kinda bummed lately... Not sure if it's work or what.

I accidentally listened to Erik Satie's piano music all afternoon. I think his music is colorful (in the tonal sense), but a bit too depressing. I recently got a hold of his piano work, so I decided to try it out today. His stuff is border-line modern for me, and I'm not a fan of modern classical music at all (try Schoenberg's "Pierrot Lunaire" if you don't know what I'm talking about). I guess it's not my everyday cup of tea, so I wouldn't be able to tolerate Satie's music all the time. I like his Gnossiennes and "Je te veux". I should have known better than to play the stuff on repeat. Now I'm depressed. >_<
