Hmmm
Something to ponder about.... I've been asked twice in the past three weeks whether I was married to the person I happened to be sitting next to at the time. Is it a normal thing for people to just assume that a guy and a girl are married if they're sitting together? Um... I don't see any rings.... hello!?!?
Okay, so the first time happened at a wedding, which I guess I could "somewhat" understand... okay... not really. But the second time was just at a restaurant, and they didn't even ask if we were dating before asking if we were married. And it's weird how both people happened to share the same name. What a coinkydink.
This also brings up another issue. I've been hanging out with many of my friends of the female persuasion over the years. Never have I been asked if I was married to any one of them until this past month. What the hell? Do I suddenly look that much older (okay, maybe mature is a better word to use here). I must be working waaaaay too hard lately.
Note to self: 4th of July fireworks is much better in Boston. Nothing in the bay area comes close.

Maybe they based it on how you were interacting? I dunno...

I agree! Maybe you should make fun of them more? That way, they'll just assume you're possibly dating.
