Cherry Blossom Festival

Made the rare journey out to SF this past Sunday for the Cherry Blossom Festival. I wanted to go since I had never been to Japantown before. I guess I was a little disappointed in how small Japantown turned out to be.

The parade wasn't that interesting either.... So I didn't have many interesting pictures to post.


I swear, 1/3 of the cosplay people were dressed up in Naruto-related gear. They need to find more interesting characters to cosplay. Where are the Gundams???


It's the prince from Katamari Damacy! Great, crazy game, by the way. I just wasn't quick enough to get a shot of him from the front. Damn Pikachu, get out of my way.


I always wanted to dress up like this when I was little.


I swear, that purple-hair girl is trying to block all my attempted shots of Samus (of Metroid fame). I don't know if that Chii character on the right should have been on the float. I've seen better.


Was trying to get a better shot of Samus, but ended up with the weird purple-hair girl again. [I think she likes me :-)] At least she's not frightening like the "puffy" Chii to her left. Does anyone know what game/anime that dude in the black costume came from?

Fed Up

I got tired of xanga's inability to post personal pictures, and its prehistoric looks. So here I am. =) Seems like there will be much fiddling with layout if I ever get around to it. It appears that Blogspot doesn't have subscriptions.... though, I do like how I can add the blogs of non-Blogspot users to my page as well. I could get used to this.
