SF Day Trip

Started off with a trip to the De Young Museum. It's great that they allow non-flash photos.

I liked this painting by John Singer Sargent the most.

Buck teeth?

I don't know, but these following paintings look awfully real. Even in these pictures, which don't do them any justice...

Afterwards, we drove through Golden Gate Park on our way out.

Gnarly!

And passed by Pacific Heights. I just wanted to drive up and down the steep 20+ degree hills. The mansions there have stunning architecture.

View of the Marina.

Alcatraz

Palace of Fine Arts.

And arrived at Ghirardelli Square. I dunno... Somehow, I just wasn't impressed by Ghirardelli Square at all. Maybe it's all the construction going on, but I found the place to be a boring tourist trap with overpriced food and shops. We stayed for $2 worth of parking and left for dinner elsewhere.
